Joan Gálvez is a photojournalist based in Barcelona specializing in social issues, migration and humanitarian dramas. He works on long-haul projects, as well as coverage of events and daily news.

His work has been published in national media such as La Vanguardia, El Español, El Mundo and in international media such as Zeit, NRC or Courrier International.
